The VPMIA Ladies Auxiliary is an ancillary group to VPMIA. Its purpose is to act as an assistant and a support to the Association’s endeavors to provide code development leadership and continuous training that results in uniform application of the codes.
Ladies Auxiliary Officers are installed at the same time as the VPMIA officers, at the Annual Banquet. The Auxiliary provides social contacts, educational activities and some relaxing fun during the meeting times for those spouses in attendance. Auxiliary members encourage their spouse’s active participation in VPMIA educational activities, come ready to lend support when asked. The Ladies Auxiliary explores a meeting city’s historical, educational, retail and dining offerings, conducts a luncheon business meeting once a year and gathers during VPMIA meetings and School of Instruction are in session. Participation is individual and voluntary. Annual membership is $10.00.
