Code Compliance Specialist
1) A working knowledge in one or more building trades – electrical, carpentry, concrete, mechanical and plumbing and will all apply this knowledge in inspecting on-going construction in buildings located throughout the Mid Atlantic Area.
2) A working knowledge of the ICC/IBC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical codes, ASTM and NFPA codes or standards.
3)
A demonstrated ability to read, understand and interpret ordinance and
construction documents including, but not limited to: construction plans,
specifications, and engineering data as well as plan and organize daily work
with appropriate supervision. MS Office Experience is a plus.
4) Ability to work well and establish positive working relationships with property managers, and any other internal and external professionals.
5)
Working conditions will be inside and outside in varied weather condition and
the Combination Code Specialist will be required to wear safety
equipment and
follow all local and federal OSHA standards.
