ICC High School Technical Program (HSTTP)
The HSTTP is a flexible educational program based on ICC's IRC divided into six parts: building, plumbing, HVAC (mechanical), electrical, masonry and energy.  This structure enables a technical high school to integrate one or more parts of the program into its current construction trade curricula to better provide students with a comprehensive knowledge of construction trades.  Additional benefits include:
     • Students learn up-to-date code information and technical training that go hand-in-hand with practical training for the workplace

• Students are better prepared to pursue career and college opportunities
     • Program includes the necessary course materials, exams and certificates to ensure easy implementation
     • Students receive a nationally-recognized Certificate of Completion (COC) from ICC upon completion of any of the six (6) disciplines of the program and passing a final exam
     • Students who complete all six (6) parts (i.e. earn six (6) certificates of completion) will be better prepared to sit for the ICC Residential Building Inspector Certification exam that is required in most jurisdictions to obtain a residential building inspector position

Please visit ICC HSTTP website for additional information and resources.
